A favourite destination for fishermen and nature-lovers. There are many opportunities for fun, from the liana to dive, to the rocks to reach by swimming.
Two bodies of water in turquoise, surrounded by green meadows, oases of shade, mountains and overlooked by the magnificent sky of Trentino: these are the lakes of Lamar, jewels of nature located right under Monte Paganella, twins once Siamese and then separated by a landslide that gave rise to Lake Santo to the south and Lake Lamar to the north. Thelatter is perhaps the most seductive, clear and surrounded by lush woods and rocks that change colour and shade depending on the time of day, with the added value of a wide green lawn beach on the western side. Rich in fish, the lakes of Lamar are loved by fishermen as well as trekking enthusiasts, who choose the routes that lead to the top of Paganella.
In 2026, the Lamar Lakes (together with Lake Tenno and Lake Terlago) obtained (again!) the Blue Flag: an international recognition that rewards water quality, environmental care and services offered to those looking for a relaxing break on the beach.
