Au fil des années, le lac de Montbel est surtout devenu un spot très agréable de baignade, pêche, balade et activités nautiques, laissant les voyageurs ébahis devant la couleur azur de l’eau et l’étendue importante du lac (550ha, 60 millions de m3 d’eau). Deux accès sont possibles pour profiter du lac et se baigner : côté Montbel et côté Léran. P
our les familles, une plage aménagée et surveillée se trouve à côté du côté Léran et ravi les tout-petits ! La plage aménagée permet de profiter de la vue splendide et panoramique sur le massif de Tabe, avec son Pic du Saint Barthélemy et Pic du Soularac. Depuis Montbel, la plage permet de profiter d’une vue superbe sur les coteaux qui bordent le lac.
