Der Glaswaldsee von Sagen und Mythen umgeben, gilt als wildromantischer Anziehungspunkt für Wanderer und Mountainbiker.

Mächtige, steile Wände umrahmen den Karsee, der einen Durchmesser von 111 Meter hat. Der See wird von einer Staumauer gehalten. Ein Wanderweg führt rund um den See herum, von der kleinen Schutzhütte hat man einen herrlichen Blick über die See.

Vom baden wird eher abgeraten da das Wasser schwefelhaltig ist. Als wir dort waren haben dort 1-2 Menschen gebadet.
