Visit the two impressing barrier lakes in Kaprun!
Take a guided tour and learn interesting facts and background stories about the barrier lakes or enjoy the herbage nature trail, children nature trail or a hike around the lake on your own. The artificial lake "Mooserboden" you find the adventure world "Strom" and it offers you a fascinating world of glaciers, power plant construction and power generation.

Directions

Drive on B163 direction St. Johann im Pongau. In St. Johann im Pongau keep to the right. Afterwards you follow B311 direction Gastein. Follow the road for about 30 km until Fischhorn.  Turn to Salzachuferstraße und then turn left at the first crossroad in direction Kaprun. In Kaprun you go to Umfahrungsstraße - Kesselfallstraße. Follow the road until the parking Kaprun Stauseen.
