Dirket am sagenumwobenen Teufelstisch, vielleicht dem bizarrsten aller Buntsandsteinfelsen, dem einzigesten Geotop in der Pfalz liegt Hinterweitenthal. Das hübsche Fachwerkdorf ist idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen um Naturpark Pfälzerwald oder Radtouren entlang der Wieslauter bis nach Wissembourg im Elsass - vorbei an zahlreichen Felse, Burgen und Burgruinen.

Neu ab Herbst 2009 ist der "Erlebnisspark Teufelstisch" - ein einzigartiges Abenteuer für die ganze Familie.
