V levem prostoru v pritličju Čopove hiše je Čopova spominska zbirka. Čopova doba, življenjska pot, ustvarjalnost, bibliotekarsko delo in stiki s Prešernom so predstavljeni z rokopisnim, knjižnim in drugim gradivom na panojih. Leta 2016 je Zavod za turizem in kulturo Žirovnica v sodelovanju z Gorenjskim muzejem in Občino Žirovnica v Čopovi rojstni hiši uredil stalno arheološko razstavo Muzejska soba Ajdna.
Ni ga lepšga kraja je naslov novega igrano-dokumentarnega filma, ki prikazuje Pot kulturne dediščine Žirovnica in si ga obiskovalci ogledajo v Čopovi rojstni hiši. Film gledalce popeljejo v vse štiri rojstne hiše znanih žirovniških rojakov, v Janšev čebelnjak, na skrivnostno Ajdno in v zeleno dolino Završnice.
Čopova rojstna hiša je ena od znamenitost na Poti kulturne dediščine Žirovnica, ki je ena najstarejših in najlepših tematskih poti v Sloveniji.
Čopova rojstna hiša služi kot prireditveni prostor, v njej ima sedež Zavod za turizem in kulturo Žirovnica.
