Drei Kilometer östlich von Heilbronns Stadtzentrum befindet sich eine waldlose Hochfläche. Nur wenige Reste erinnern in der Wiesenlandschaft an die einstige Nutzung als festungsartig ausgebaute Raketenabschussbasis für Pershing II-Mittelstreckenraketen.
Das komplette Areal wurde renaturiert und auf der Hochfläche wachsen jetzt seltene Pflanzenarten, die es lohnt zu betrachten.
