Spätere Besucher sind auch Wolfgang Bauer, Peter Turrini, Josef Winkler, Peter Handke oder Gert Jonke. Die großzügige Mäzenin Maja Lampersberg ermöglichte durch ihre Gastfreundschaft den "Tonhof-Kindern" zu schreiben, zu komponieren und zu malen: "Das Haus war immer offen..."
Mit dem Tod des Komponisten Gerhard Lampersberg im Jahre 2002 kehrte Ruhe im Tonhof ein. Heute aber wird der Tonhof wieder „bespielt“. Es gibt Theatervorstellungen, Lesungen, Konzerte u. v. m.
