Ceramic Holy Communion, carved after the work of Leonardo da Vinci. It is located in the old fortified cemetery (Oelberg).
It was made in ceramic using the stoneware-cement technique on the occasion of the Eucharistic Congress of 1932. It was modelled in life-size by local potters (Leon and Fernand Elchinger and Charles Burger), after the fresco by Leonardo da Vinci in Milan (1495-1497). You will find it in the old fortified cemetery, the Oelberg (Mount of Olives), recognizable by its rampart walls and located a stone's throw from the church.
