Situated on the German Wine Route in the midst of the vines and with the Palatinate Forest Nature Park behind it, Rhodt unter Rietburg stands for excellent wines, a listed, pretty village center with half-timbered houses and archways. The famous Theresienstraße forms the heart of the village. Loving details can be discovered everywhere. Whoever is allowed to live here is to be envied - whoever takes a vacation here even more so.

Pure south - strolling along the listed Theresienstraße with its lush horse chestnut trees, romantic winegrowers' courtyards and the southern fruit garden conveys the charm of the famous winegrowers' town. Fine wines from the vintners and culinary delicacies as well as Palatinate specialties can be found in the vinotheques, wine taverns and wine bars. Not only the castle Villa Ludwigshöhe and the chair lift to the Rietburg, but also the nearby "most beautiful wine view of the Palatinate", offer extraordinary "views and panoramas" into the Garden of Eden. It is difficult to escape the magic of this romantic place. The oldest Gewürztraminer vineyard in the world can be found here.
