Über viele Jahrzehnte bis ins 20. Jahrhundert wurde in der Kaiservilla europäische Geschichte geschrieben und damit Bad Ischl zur "geheimen Hauptstadt" der mächtigen Donaumonarchie.
Sehen Sie die original bewahrten Gemächer, in denen Kaiserin "Sisi" Elisabeth die Sommermonate verbrachte und wo Kaiser Franz Joseph regierte und schließlich 1914 mit der Kriegserklärung an Serbien den 1.Weltkrieg auslöste und seine Beweggründe im Manifest "An meine Völker" darlegte. Während einer 45-minütigen Führung spüren Sie das besondere Flair vergangener Zeiten und erfahren Interessantes und Persönliches aus dem Leben der kaiserlichen Familie.Umgeben ist die Kaiservilla vom weitläufigen Kaiserpark, der zu ausgedehnten Rundgängen einlädt und mit dem Marmorschlössl das ehemalige Teehaus Elisabeths beinhaltet.Besichtigung nur mit Führung!
