Only preserved tower of the medieval town wall (Waffenstraße/corner of Burghofgasse)

Former keep and the only preserved tower of the medieval city wall. From 1732, it served as a prison for military prisoners. The tower received its name as the convicts were sent from there "to the galleys" [No. 162].
