Eglise à colombages de Kuhlendorf

This half-timbered church, the only one of its kind in the region, is an architectural treasure. It was built in 1820 to serve as an oratory and as a "Bet und Schulhaus" school. It is a listed building. It is the result of teamwork involving many local craftsmen. In the past, the church was entered through the door on the street, while the school entrance was on the side. On the ground floor was the classroom and on the first floor the teacher's accommodation. The church still contains the original furniture (altar, flesh, pews)
