Über 900 Jahre Geschichte im St. Bennohaus am Meißner Marktplatz.
Die Geschichte des Hauses beginnt im Dunkel der Sage. Benno, Bischof von Meißen 1066 bis 1106, soll sich an dieser Stelle, noch lange vor Anlage der Stadt, ein Haus errichten lassen, um dem Volke nahe zu sein. Hier soll er 1075 von dem deutschen König Heinrich IV. gefangen genommen worden sein.
Im Haus befindet sich das Benno Restaurant. Erleben Sie im St. Benno Gewölberestaurant auf dem Markt in Meißen 900 Jahre Geschichte in historischen Gemäuern, eine entspannte Zeit und lassen Sie sich von Hausgemachten Speisen und Getränken verwöhnen.
