This religious monument is located on the Romanesque Road in Alsace, along with the Abbey of Saints Peter and Paul in Wissembourg and the Church of St. Ulrich in Altenstadt
The building has a basilical plan with three naves with ceilings and a transept and vaulted cul-de-four apses. Inside, the large arcades rest on alternating supports: columns with cubic capitals and masonry pillars with simple transom windows. Note the quality of the small alternating red and grey stonework (exterior of the nave and apse of the north apsidal chapel) as well as the decorative size of the facings (interior pillars of the nave).
