Die Strecke von Haltingen nach Kandern ist eine von wenigen Bahnen in Deutschland, sowie die einzige normalspurige Nebenbahn in Baden-Württemberg, die als reine Museumsbahn betrieben wird. Die Kandertalbahn ist in ihrer vollen Länge mit allen Stationen erhalten geblieben.
