Der Weg durch die bewaldete Twannbachschlucht wurde 1890 gebaut. Der Einstieg in die Schlucht ist noch nicht besonders spektakulär. Ein kleiner Bach plätschert friedlich neben dem Wanderweg her. Nach den ersten Treppen wechselt dann das Bild. Meterhohe Felswände türmen sich links und rechts des Baches auf. Grössere und kleinere Wasserfälle tosen in die Tiefe, dazwischen Wasserrutschen, auf denen sich das Wasser zu rasanten Geschwindigkeiten beschleunigt, um am Schluss unter lautem Getöse in einen kleinen See zu stürzen. Der Wanderweg überwindet derweilen eine spektakuläre Passage nach der anderen. Mal über einen kühn angelegten Holzsteg, dann wieder unter den zum Teil metertief unterhöhlten Felsen durch. Geniessen Sie diese magische Landschaft und nehmen Sie die Kraft dieses Ortes in sich auf.
