Beeindruckend, wie wild das Oberland sein kann: Wer in der Schnalz wandert, hat nicht den Eindruck, nur ein paar Kilometer Luftlinie von Peißenberg, Hohenpeißenberg oder Böbing entfernt zu sein. Dass es hier Uhus und Gemsen geben soll, glaubt man sofort. Und wenn es neblig ist, erscheint sogar einleuchtend, dass die sogenannte „Hexenküche“ von allerlei überirdischen Gestalten bewohnt sein soll. Der Wanderparkplatz bietet den perfekten asusgnagspunkt für lange oder kurze Wanderungen.
