Das Monbachtal bei Bad Liebenzell bildet eine etwa 4 km lange malerische Schlucht.
Über kleinere Wasserfälle fließt der Monbach durch den Buntsandstein der Nagold zu. Im Naturschutzgebiet bleiben umgestürzte Bäume im Bachbett liegen und Wandernde müssen auf teils rutschigen Trittsteinen mehrmals die Seiten wechseln.
