Ideally located between Cognac and Jarnac, the Cognac golf course, designed by Jean Garaïalde, is a real paradise in the heart of nature.
This marvellous 18 all "Par 72" is set in the middle of the vineyards on a hillside overlooking the Charente river.
The quality of the site means that the Cognac golf course can lay claim to a European vocation, but its main objective is above all to be a golf course open to all.
Everything has been designed to ensure a warm welcome, comfort and a passion for golf in this true paradise in the heart of nature.
On the banks of the Charente and in the heart of the vineyards, an 18-hole par 72 course, designed by the architect Jean GARAIALDE, offers a superb undulating course.
The difficulty of each hole has been skilfully proportioned to the players' abilities, with strategically placed water hazards and bunkers playing a key role.
A competent and friendly team is on hand to welcome golfers every day.
To relax, the golf restaurant has a large terrace overlooking the 18th hole, where you can treat your taste buds or simply enjoy a refreshing drink while contemplating the golfing and wine-growing environment.
Ideally located between Cognac and Jarnac, the Cognac golf course boasts a rich cultural, sporting and wine-growing heritage.
The world-famous Cognac region is made exclusively from white grape varieties (mainly ugni blanc and colombard). Vinified into wine and then distilled twice in a Charentais still, the cognac is then aged in barrels, with subtle blends of eaux-de-vie differentiating the different styles of cognac produced by each house. Many of the great families grew up in the vineyards and have forged their names and worldwide reputations.
Immersing yourself in the cognac culture is a truly emotional experience: the beauty of the landscapes, the age-old know-how and the generosity of the people all combine to create a wide range of unique experiences.
