Die Stiftung St. Franziskus Heiligenbronn hat 1997 einen "Garten der Sinne" in Verbindung mit dem Pausenhof der Schule für Blinde und Sehbehinderte geschaffen, der sich zwischen Klostermauer und Kirche erstreckt und frei zugänglich ist.

Die Elemente des Gartens der Sinne

Gesteinsschichten der schwäbischen Schichtstufenlandschaft, verschiedene Bodenbeläge, Duftbank und Duftinseln im Hochbeet, Klanginsel, Recyclingmauer, Holzwand, Heckenlabyrinth, Obstbäume, Beerengarten, Sandkasten, Brunnen, Spiel- und Ruhebereich. Eine Vielfalt von einheimischen Pflanzen ergibt eine jahreszeitlich wechselnde Duftpalette. Gräser und Farne, Gewürz- und Heilkräuter, Beeren und Stauden, Laub-, Nadel- und Obstgehölze und weitere Pflanzen finden sich.
