Die Schoimoscher Burg

Schoimosch ist eine der am besten erhaltenen Burgruinen. Die Burg liegt nordöstlich von Lippa (Lipova), am rechten Ufer der Marosch und diente der Verteidigung des Banats. Sie wurde im Mittelalter zur Abwehr erbaut und ist seit dem 13. Jahrhundert schriftlich dokumentiert.

Die Burgruinen befinden sich auf einem 252 Meter hohen Felskegel, einem der letzten der südlichen Ausläufer der Zarander Berge.
