Das Wahrzeichen von Sternenfels ist der Schlossbergturm, der neben einem Wasserspeicher eine kleine Ausstellung „GuG“ zu Geschichte und Geologie des Sandbauerndorfes und der Herren von Sternenfels beherbergt. Rund um den besteigbaren Turm mit seiner grandiosen Aussicht lädt eine Spielanlage mit Biergarten Wanderer und Ausflügler zum Verweilen ein.
Das große Spielgerät, dass 2019 den "Burgwart" ablösen durfte, war mit Beteiligung der Sternenfelser und Diefenbacher Kinder ausgwählt worden und lädt zum Klettern und Spielen ein.
