Waldumbau: Entnahme von Fichten und Pflanzung von Bergulmen

Auf beiden Hangseiten des Kluckbaches wurden Fichten gefällt, um die Entwicklung zum Laubmischwald anzustoßen. Auf dem gegenüberliegenden Hang wurden 2020 Bergulmen, auf dem diesseitigen u.a. Eichen, Hainbuchen, Wildkirschen und Spitzahorne gepflanzt.

Dieser Punkt ist Bestandteil der Wanderroute 9 Kluckbach - Neuntöter und Schachbrettfalter und wurde erstellt im Rahmen des LIFE-Projektes "Patches & Corridors" an der Biologischen Station StädteRegion Aachen e.V.
