Bildstöckle

Das Bildstöckle liegt direkt neben der Nagold in Dillweißenstein und wurde 1491 errichtet. Es ist Gegenstand mehrer lokaler Sagen und es ist ein eiserner Ring für Flöße angebracht.

Direkt neben der Nagold befindet sich der Bildstöckle. Hier befand sich früher ein Steg über den Fluss.

Die Sage des Bildstöckles bezieht sich auf den einstigen Besitzer der Burg Rabeneck im 15. Jahrhundert.

Der Burgherr von Weißenstein, Christoph von Ehingen, hatte eine tugendhafte Tochter. Um diese warb der Junker der naheliegenden Burg Liebeneck. Vater und Tochter wiesen ihn aufgrund seines wüstens Lebens ab. Er jedoch beschloss, das Mädchen zu rauben. Er versteckte sich im Wald von Weißenstein, wo das Edelfräulein "zu lustwandeln" pflegte.

Am Abend wurde sie ergriffen, auf ein Pferd gesetzt und den Berg hinab zur Nagold geschleppt. Der hölzerne Steg brach unter der Last der Reiter zusammen. Der Ritter ertrank im Fluss, während sich das Fräulein ans Ufer rettete. Das Mädchen starb allerdings wenig später und wurde in der Gruft der Burgkapelle beigesetzt.

Es heißt, dass in gewissen Nächten an der Stelle des Unglücks zwischen 11 und 12 Uhr nachts ein kleiner Nachen anlegt, dem das verunglückte Fräulein entsteigt. Sie trägt ein goldenes Kreuz in der Hand und spaziert zu der verfallenen Burg hinauf. Dort brennt ein Licht, das erlischt, wenn die Erscheinung hinter den Ringmauern verschwunden ist. Es soll sich auch in den heiligen Nächten ein Licht an dem Bildstöckle zeigen, vor dem ein gespenstiger Ritter kniet.
