Hudourniki, plazovi, vetrovi in živali so z gora v dolino prinesli semena, korenine in dele rastlin. Zato melišča pod strmimi stenami in druge gole površine v dolinah porašča alpsko cvetje, ki ga sicer najdemo višje v gorah. Ob koncu maja in v začetku junija so te površine najbolj barvite.
Privoščite si opazovanje in spoznavanje alpskega cvetja, a pustite ga, naj raste in krasi dolino tudi za druge obiskovalce. Nekatere vrste so tudi strupene, zato jih opazujte le z vidom in vonjem.
Do krožne poti je za osebe na invalidskih vozičkih urejen dostop s parkirišča pred Domom planincev.
