Coswig bekommt eine neue E-Fähre. Hierfür sind einige Umbauten wie modernere Anlegestellen, neue Rampen und Ladeinfrastuktur notwendig. Damit die Arbeiten effizient durchgeführt werden können, wird der Fährverkehr vom 12. April bis 29. Juni 2026 eingestellt.
Nächste Quermöglichkeiten sind die Brücke Radebeul - Niederwartha und die Brücken in Meißen.
Die Fähre verbindet Coswig mit Gauernitz,der Elberadweg führt beidseits direkt an der Fährevorbei.

- In Coswig ist es nicht weit zum Freibad Kötitz und zur Villa Teresa. Die 1860 errichtete klassizistische Villa Teresa hat sich zu einem beliebten Kammermusikzentrum etabliert und befindet sich in einer naturbelassenen Parkanlage.
- Mit der Buslinie 400 Coswig – Radebeul – Dippelsdorf erreichen Sie das Coswiger Stadtzentrum und den Spitzgrund mit angrenzendem Friedewald sowie die beliebteste Radebeuler Flaniermeile: Altkötzschenbroda.

- Die Quer-Fähren Coswig- Gauernitz und Diesbar-Seußlitz sind bis zu einem Pegel Stand Dresden 60 cm möglich.
- Fahrten mit dem Fährschiff Bosel sind bis zu einem Pegel Stand Dresden 70 cm möglich.
