Im Oktober 2018 hat Petra Johannes in der Neutralen Straße in Leidingen ihren Laden „GrenzGlück“ eröffnet. Dort verkauft sie Liköre, Konfitüren, Schnäpse, Produkte aus Bärlauch und Chutneys.

Petra Johannes ist zeit ihres Lebens Grenzgängerin. Grenznah ist sie auf dem Heilenbücher-Hof in Oberesch aufgewachsen. 1965 hatten ihre Eltern, Marianne und Alfons Johannes, den Aussiedlerhof übernommen.
Von Beginn an hatte sie den Gedanken, in der Scheune des ehemaligen Bauernhauses ein Geschäft zu eröffnen. In ihrem kleinen Ladenlokal verkauft sie ausnahmslos regionale Produkte. Und wenn ein Produkt ausverkauft ist muss man bis zum nächsten Jahr warten, bis die entsprechenden Früchte wieder geerntet werden können.
„Die Neutrale Straße“, so Petra Johannes, „hat für mich etwas von Urlaub. Man hört Französisch, Deutsch und Moselfränkisch. und wohnt mitten im Dorf in einer ruhigen Landschaft. Es gibt keine Balken mehr, die Schlagbäume sind weg. Franzosen und Deutsche sind zu Freunden geworden. Ich habe hier mein Glück gefunden und deshalb auch meinem Geschäft den Namen „GrenzGlück“ gegeben.“
