Galerie3 at Alter Platz has already been called a "jewel in Carinthia's cultural crown". No wonder - because it offers a high level of competence, a sophisticated atmosphere and cordial cultural mediation.

The programme gallery focuses on contemporary art and represents renowned as well as emerging artists. A constantly changing "fundus", the Schaulager of Galerie3, also invites visitors to browse through works from the gallery's programme.

In the historic rooms at Alter Platz 25 (2nd floor lift), Galerie3 presents six exhibitions of high-calibre contemporary art a year in the middle of the pedestrian zone, extended by presentations outside, including in the gallery's small atrium and at other venues as part of Galerie3flux projects.

The presence of artists with disabilities from Germany and abroad, until now often labelled as "Art Brut", has become a matter of course in Galerie3's programme. Since 2014, the flexible project Galerie3flux (formerly Flux23) has expanded the gallery's work into public space, as well as socially involved projects and transdisciplinary collaborations.

Art Now Art is the name of the Galerie3flux podcast, which is about the interplay between art and society and can be heard through all the usual channels as well as on the gallery website.
