The Fischfarm Sigleß is an innovative family business in the Burgenland town of Sigleß, specializing in the conscious breeding of freshwater fish. Since 2004, high-quality fish species such as African catfish, trout, carp, and zander have been raised here in resource-saving recirculation systems – completely without the use of antibiotics or chemicals. The farm focuses on controlled, species-appropriate husbandry, regional feed, and closed water systems, guaranteeing the highest quality with a simultaneously low ecological footprint.
In addition to direct sales at the farm shop, the fish farm also offers its products at regional markets. The offering is rounded off by regular farm days, during which visitors can gain insights into fish farming and convince themselves of the freshness and quality of the products. The Fischfarm Sigleß thus stands for regional value creation and responsible enjoyment in the Rosalia region.
