Die Stadtkirche (Jodokuskirche) wird erstmals 1275 als Marienkirche

erwähnt.

Auf dem Altar, der 1954 von Albert Volz geschaffen wurde, steht ein Kruzifix, den die Pfarrfrau Eleonore Grückler 1648 zum Ende des 30-jährigen Krieges stiftete. Die Westwand mit dem Doppelportal und gotischem Strahlenkranz sind neben dem Hauptfenster im Chor eine der Besonderheiten der Kirche.
