Die Pfarrkirche St. Michael in Blumenfeld mit besonderen Älteren, Skulpturen, Malereien und Glasfenstern

Die Geschichte der Pfarrkirche St. Michael reicht zurück ins 11. Jahrhundert. Das Kirchengebäude ist jedoch gerade einmal einhundert Jahre alt. 1907 wurde der alte baufällige Bau abgerissen und durch einen Neubau im neogotischen Stil ersetzt. Bedeutendster Stifter war der nach Odessa ausgewanderte Weizenhändler Carl Wesle. Der Innenraum besteht aus einer Staffelhalle mit vereinzelten Jugendstilelementen. Die überaus reiche Ausstattung von 1908-1910 mit Altären, Skulpturen, Malereien und Glasfenstern verleiht dem Innenraum eine einheitliche Gesamtwirkung.
