Unterhalb der Burg Rötteln steht im Dorf Rötteln die St. Galluskirche aus dem 8. Jh. n.Chr.. Sie ist die älteste Kirche von Lörrach, wurde aber beim Basler Erdbeben 1356 zerstört und 1401 wiederaufgebaut.
