In der traditionsreichen Anlage des ehemaligen freien Reichsstifts Kloster Irsee hat das jahrhundertealte Wissen der Mönche um die Regeln gemeinschaftlichen Zusammenlebens, schöpferischer Konzentration und menschlicher Geborgenheit in einer heiter toleranten Lebenseinstellung Gestalt gewonnen. Heute ist hier das Schwäbische Tagungs- und Bildungszentrum untergebracht, das mit 15 Tagungsräumen und 81 Hotelzimmern ein modernes Konferenzhotel und zugleich ein überregional bedeutsames Forum wirtschaftlicher, wissenschaftlicher, politischer und kultureller Kommunikation bietet.
Die Kirche kann täglich bis 18:00 Uhr ohne vorherige Anmeldung besichtigt werden. Empfehlenswert ist das Irseer Klosterbräu, in dem auch heute noch nach traditioneller Art gebraut wird.
Kirchen- und Klosterführungen sind in Abhängigkeit der Buchungslage des Bildungszentrums möglich. Anmeldung werden mindestens zwei Tage im Voraus erbeten.
