Conrad Geißler (1825 - 1897) führte nach seiner Lehr- und Gehilfenzeit bei Weinecke, Ladegast, Mende und Walcker von 1852 - 1897 in Eilenburg seine eigene Werkstatt. 1864 baute er die Orgel für die St.-Marien-Kirche, auch Bergkirche genannt, als Opus 27. II/22. Mit mechanischer Traktur und Schleifwindladen, erhielt die Orgel ein Schwellwerk. Zwischen 1975 und 1999 war die Orgel unspielbar. 2000 erfolgte eine Generalüberholung durch die Firma Mitteldeutscher Orgelbau A. Voigt GmbH.
