Erbauer der Sankt-Josefs-Kapelle im Ramsbacher Ortsteil "Kalikutt" sind der ehemalige Wirt des Höhengasthauses "Hotel Kalikutt" Ludwig Schmiederer und seine Ehefrau Paula. Am Josefstag (19. März) 1990 wurde der Grundstein gelegt und ein halbes Jahr später erfolgte die Weihe. Errichtet wurde die Kapelle von Ludwig Schmiederer zu Ehren der Eltern und Großeltern sowie als Gedenkstätte für die 17 Gefallenen der beiden Weltkriege, die von der Kalikutt stammten. Das Kirchlein ist 6,4 Meter lang und 4,4 Meter breit, hat ein Walmdach mit einem Dachreiter. Der Altar belegt in den Ornamenten die Kunst des Steinhauers. Zu sehen sind die Symbole der Evangelisten, fünf Brote und zwei Fische als Zeichen für die Speisung der Fünftausend, sowie die fünf klugen und die fünf törichten Jungfrauen. Die Kapelle steht inmitten einer kleinen Anlage mit Sitzbänken und einr Gedenkstätte mit den Namen der Gefallenen. Wie so vieles in und um die Kapelle wurde auch dieses Denkmal gestiftet.
