Die Schimmelkapelle St. Stephan ist malerisch gelegen im Ortsteil Enzelhausen, auf einem kleinen Hügel mit Blick über das Abenstal.
In dem kleinen Kirchlein bei Enzelhausen soll sich der Sage nach einst ein gestohlener Schimmel verirrt haben, der später verhungert aufgefunden wurde.
