The Haldenberg Chapel in Ailingen was planned and built in 1892 by the carpenter Johann Heinzelmann. In 1921, the chapel in the Reinachmühle was neatly demolished and rebuilt on the Haldenberg. The chapel was renovated in 1996.

In addition to the mosaic "Star in the Sea of Life" by Kurt Zöller (Miltenberg), the modern Stations of the Cross (also by Zöller) and the Piet (1893) are well worth seeing. In summer, from June to August, evening prayers are held every Thursday at 8 pm. With an impressive height of 479 m, the Haldenberg is a popular excursion destination. Numerous walking trails invite you to discover this exceptional landscape. On a clear day, hikers are treated to a magnificent view: Lake Constance lies at the feet of visitors to the Haldenberg. The Alps rise majestically and form an imposing view.
