Idyllically situated in the middle of its cemetery and surrounded by tall oak trees, the chapel overlooks the wide Glan valley. Its Romanesque choir tower is adjoined by a baroque nave, whose flat wooden ceiling is supported by six slender wooden pillars. There is a valuable silent organ in the gallery, and at the foot of the church the so-called Kappeler Brücke, a largely unchanged 18th century structure, spans the Glan in three wide arches.
