A Kab-hegy északi oldalában található Macska-lik egy víznyelőbarlang, amely a Bakony leglátványosabb sziklaüregei közé tartozik. Kürtője felett hóolvadáskor vagy csapadékos időben vízesés, télen látványos jégcsapok képződnek.

A Déli-Bakony „bazaltkarsztnak” is nevezett platójának szélén, a mészkő és a bazaltréteg határvonalánál bükkösben megbújó, méretes barlangszájra bukkanunk. A Macskalik-barlang voltaképpen egy 50 méter széles kürtővel bíró víznyelő, ami a közeli Kab-hegy északi oldalán vezeti le a bazalttakarón összegyűlt csapadékot a nummulinás mészkő mélyebb rétegeiben keletkezett üregekbe. Kútszerű aknáját a kutatók először 1935-ben vizsgálták, de a beömlő csapadékvíz útja máig rejtély. A föld alá vezető látványos üreg bejáratához le is ereszkedhetünk (csapadékos, csúszós időben ez nem ajánlott), de a feltöltődés miatt manapság ennél mélyebbre aligha hatolhatunk.

Egyesek szerint a barlang bejárata ásító macska szájához hasonlít, ezért kapta a Macska-lik nevet. Az 1960-70-es években történt feltárási munkálatok során a középső eocén mészkőben képződött barlang ismert mélységét 19 méteren állapították meg, járatának hossza ekkor 41 méter volt. A barlangba befolyó csapadékvíz hordaléka a további kutatásokat ellehetetlenítette, az eddig ismert járatot eltömedékelte. A Macska-lik közelében találunk egy másik víznyelőt is, ami a Kis-Macska-lik nevet viseli.
