In Veľká Fatra National Park there is a snow-white cave with dripstone decoration, wall waterfalls and lakes with cave pearls.
A leisurely walk to the cave takes 50 minutes from a car park in the Harmanec Valley after overcoming the altitude difference of 260 m along an educational trail. The 1020-metre-long cave tour lasts approximately 60 minutes. The cave was discovered in 1932 by a young man, Michal Bacúrik, who dug into a snow-white hall, called the Dome since then. Instead of recognition, however, he was fined for invading the land of the town's forests. The enchanting Harmanec Cave has a lot of attractions that the guides will be happy to share with you.
