This ''Eiskeller'' served as a refrigerator for the Hillesheimer beer breweries.
In the second half of the 19th century, the tunnel was driven into the sandstone layers. This "ice cellar" served as a cooling room for the Hillesheim breweries. There is a light switch at the entrance, so you can see the full height. The cave must not be entered.
From the parking lot on Wallstraße, you have a footpath of 300 m.
