Die Höhle des Heiligen Johannes befindet sich nahe des Katholiko Klosters auf der Akrotiri-Halbinsel auf Kreta.
Der Heilige Johannes, auch Johannes der Fremde oder Johannes von Gouverneto, soll sich in seinen letzten Lebensjahren (Ende des 10. / Anfang des 11. Jahrhunderts) in die Felshöhlen rund um die heutigen Ruinen des Katholiko Klosters zurückgezogen haben. Zuvor war er als Missionar im Nordwesten Kretas tätig. Gemeinsam mit einigen Gefährten gründete er das Katholiko Kloster. Kurz vor dem Kloster befindet sich der niedrige Eingang zu seiner Höhle. Gläubige kommen noch heute an seinem Namenstag, dem 7. Oktober, in einer Prozession vom Gouverneto Kloster zu seiner Höhle, um ihm Respekt zu erweisen.
