Nagyvázsony egyetlen világi, részben barokk emléke a rendezett környezetű Zichy-kastély. Az épület falai között kiállítások, rendezvényhelyszínek és szállás is található.
A barokk stílusú kastélyt Zichy Károly építtette 1762-ben. A település birtokosa, a Zichy család általában nem tartózkodott itt. Ennek megfelelően először csak gazdatisztjeiknek emeltek zsúpfedeles lakóházat, a kastély csak később épült. 1815 és 1820 között klasszicista stílusúra szabták át. A négyoszlopos kocsifelhajtó timpanonjának tetején beépített órát láthatunk.
A kapu, a kerítés és a szökőkút már modern hozzátoldás, az eredeti látványnak nem volt része. Ha bemegyünk az öreg fákkal és tóval is ékesített kastélyparkba, találhatunk ilyen részleteket a túloldalon is: az erkély kései hozzáépítés, ahogy az előtte elterülő vázadíszes terasz is. Ma hotelként működik.

- A Nagyvázsony, pulai elágazás buszmegállóba kell érkeznünk. Ide Veszprémből és Tapolcáról indulnak buszjáratok.
