Novobystřický zámek, Bystřický hrad, bývá sice poprvé připomínán podobně jako město Bystřice v listině z r. 1341, avšak jeho existence se předpokládá již ve 13. století.
700 let tak dlouho stojí zámek, který přežil i útok Jana Žižky
20 let je to od doby, kdy na zámku proběhla poslední rekonstrukce
850 let již uplynulo od založení města Nové Bystřice
6 rodů žilo na zámku od jeho počátků
Současní správci chtějí tomuto historicky významnému objektu vrátit jeho tvář a společenské postavení. Během roku 2017 proběhly na zámku opravné a údržbové práce za přispění mnoha dobrovolníků.
V letní sezóně jsou zde pořádány komentované prohlídky a kulturní akce.
