Wohl mit zu den schönsten Renaissancebauten nördlich der Alpen zählt dieser Palazzo, der zu Recht der ganze Stolz der Bevölkerung ist.

Im Auftrag Gabriels v. Salamanca und seiner Nachkommen wurde hier von italienischen Meistern ein einzigartiges Kunstwerk der Renaissance geschaffen. Lange Zeit diente das Schloss auch den Fürsten von Porcia als Residenz (1662-1918).
