Schloss Freudental liegt auf einem Hügel inmitten der wunderbaren Landschaft des Bodanrücks.

Das barocke Schloss Freudental wurde 1698-1700 erbaut und gehörte dem Grafen von Bodman. Seit einigen Jahren befindet es sich in Privatbesitz, wird als Hotel genutzt und wurde 2014 aufwändig renoviert: 15 komfortable Gästezimmer, 5 historische Säle, eine Bibliothek, der ausgebaute Schlosskeller und ein idyllischer Park stehen nun den Gästen zur Verfügung.

Direkt vom Schloss führen bequeme Rad- und Wanderwege in die ausgedehnten Wälder des Bodanrücks und zum Landschaftsschutzgebiet Mindelsee.
