Das ehemalige kaiserliche Jagdschloss Eckartsau ist jedes Jahr im April und Mai traditioneller Schau- und vor allem Hörplatz der Eckartsauer Schlosskonzerte.

Der prächtige Festsaal und die zahlreichen Jagdtrophäen des Thronfolgers Franz Ferdinand erzählen von Glanz und Glorie der Habsburgerzeit. Im Schloss endete seinerzeit auch die Donaumonarchie: das letzte österreichische Kaiserpaar floh von hier aus ins Exil. Diese Geschichte über die letzten Stunden von Österreich-Ungarn wird bei spannenden Führungen am Originalschauplatz erzählt.
