Das Schloss thront über Eberstein. Mit seinen 6.000 m2 ist es das zweitgrößte Schloss in Kärnten.

Erbaut im gotischen Tudorstil wurde es 1078 durch Erzgraf Aribo, Gründer des Geschlechts der Görzer, erstmals urkundlich erwähnt. Der Kärntner Dichter Herbert Strutz nennt es ein Märchenschloss und das schönste Schloss Kärntens. (Quelle: www.eberstein.info/DE/sehenswuerdigkeiten_8_DE.html)
