Höxter – Schloss Corvey

Ein Relikt aus der Zeit der Weserrenaissance sind die geschnitzten und gemalten Schmuckelemente, mit denen Adel, Klerus und Bürger ihre Häuser dekorierten. Das Wahrzeichen dieser östlichsten Stadt Nordrhein-Westfalens, die fast tausend Jahre alte St. Kilianikirche, ist besonders sehenswert, ebenso wie die Marienkirche, der früheste gotische Bau (1283) in Westfalen. Ein Muss des Besuches ist auch das Schloss und Kloster Corvey.
